Hair Analysis and Personal Proprietary Remedies (PPRs)
We are pleased to feature our Hair Analysis and Personal Proprietary Remedies (PPRs) as our premium service offering to help promote your optimal health. PPRs require that a hair sample is submitted for analysis (see Hair Analysis below). PPRs are developed based on client specific energy and address multiple imbalances.
Hair Analysis
Hair Analysis is a method to test the energetic imbalances within your body. This analysis is based on Chinese Medicine and Applied Kinesiology and is a noninvasive way to access information about the body.
Only a very small amount of hair is needed (approximately ten, ½ inch length strands of hair). Cut the hair and enclose it in a small paper envelope (or ziplock bag). Place the first envelope inside of a second envelope and mail the sample to the address found below:
NRV Energy Medicine, Inc.
132 Christiansburg Pike, NE
Floyd, VA 24091
Remember to include your payment and your intake form if this is new analysis. Refer to Request Services for more details.
Note: It does not matter what part of the body the hair comes from and the analysis is not affected by chemicals or color in the hair.

Shiatsu
Shiatsu, which literally means "cure with the touch of fingers“,is a Japanese by-product of Traditional Chinese Medicine used for thousands of years to promote health and longevity. Shiatsu primarily uses thumb pressure to achieve mind/body harmony but also employs the use of the hands, knees and feet. Techniques involve holding, rocking, stretching and are combined with various gentle manipulation techniques. Shiatsu relieves a variety of problems including back, hip, knee and joint pain, sciatica, neck and shoulder problems, stress, insomnia, digestive concerns, PMS and fatigue.
Shiatsu may be used to promote and stabilize physical and psychological health. Treatments have a regulatory influence on the autonomic nervous system, thereby improving organ function and reducing muscle tension.
Shiatsu supports the self-healing process. As a holistic form of treatment, it looks on illness and symptoms of disease as an imbalance of energy. Treatment stimulates, relaxes, invigorates, decongests, and gives an overall sense of body/mind/spirit well-being. Shiatsu not only works on the visible symptoms of imbalance, but also at an even deeper level, the energetic level, the root of all imbalances.
Whole Body Health Assessment and Nutritional Counseling is an ensemble of holistic modalities designed to identify imbalances in the body and assist in the self-healing process through the use of a combination of nutrition, herbs, Bach Flower Remedies, tinctures and lifestyle enhancements. Listed below is a brief description of some of the modalities that we use :
Iris Analysis
Iridology is the study and analysis of the colors and detailed fiber structures within the iris of the eye. Iridology reveals the presence of tissue inflammation in the body, where it is located and the stage to which it has progressed.
Facial Analysis
By employing the art of physiognomy (face reading) the map of your face can be read to assess inherited health conditions as well as imbalances that can affect present and future health.
Tongue Analysis
The ancient art of tongue analysis can reveal the functional status of respective internal organs by observing the surface of the tongue.
Muscle Response Testing
Muscle Response Testing (MRT) is a noninvasive way of evaluating the body’s imbalances and assessing its needs, and determining what is needed to restore balance.
Nutritional Consulting
Nutritional Consulting focuses on assisting the self-healing process of the body through the use of proper diet and supplementation.
